It is great to hear that ambition and wanting to be the best are positive characteristics. We all have a fear of cold calling or initiating a conversation with a prospect. But getting a “no” is fantastic, because the more no’s you receive, ultimately you will get a “yes.” Overcoming your fears, whatever they might be, will only increase your results. As Mr. Tracy stated, “In order to get rid of fear, do the thing you fear, and the death of fear is certain.” Finally, check yourself. Are you totally committed to being a successful salesperson? You cannot have one foot out the door, and be 100% committed.
